α-Piperidinobutiophenone which is also known as Alpha-PBP, α-PBP, is an analytical reference standard compound that is categorized as a stimulant. α-PBP is an analog of MPBP without the 4-methyl group. α-Pyrrolidinobutiophenone is a drug that was developed in the 1960s. It is similar to the α-PPP and α-PVP drugs. Structurally, It is similar to diethylpropion, an appetite suppressant and known to have analogous effects in animals.
