3 CEC is an analytical reference standard and it is structurally classified as cathinone. In recent years, 3-Chloromethcathinone has become a popular designer drug in European countries, as well as in some American markets. It is one of the few stimulants in the cathinone class, so it’s considered a powerful stimulant. It is a synthetic cathinone, which duplicates all of the properties of 4-MEC. Moreover, it is not addictive. It is a complete alternative to 4-MEC.
3-CEC is also a synthetic analog of the amphetamine class. It has similar structure as other amphetamines and shares the same ethyl chain with a phenyl ring bound to an amino group.
