Shipping & Storage Information
Phenmetrazine is an anorexic stimulant. Structurally, it is an amphetamine analog with a morpholine ring incorporated into its terminal amine. For a long time, Phenmetrazine has been used as an appetite suppressant, but the compound is prone to abuse. 3-Fluorophenazine (3-FPM) is a stimulant-like new psychoactive substance (NPS) and a fluorinated analog of phenmethazine. It has recently appeared in the recreational drug market, but the information released is limited.
3-FPM is a derivative of the former stimulant drug phenmetrazine, which was commonly used in Europe during the 1950s. It produces high levels of norepinephrine and serotonin in the brain. The synthesis and use of 3-FPM has been reported in a patent that was filed in 2011. Various reports describe 3-FPM as having a pleasant and subdued stimulant effect, which makes it suitable for study aid or productivity enhancement. It is also known to cause less nervous system reaction than other drugs.
3-Fluorophenazine (3-FPM), also known as PAL-593, was put on the market via the Internet around 2014, and it has become more and more popular since then. 3-fluorophenmethazine is also known as a halogenated phenmetrazine. Halogenated amphetamine is a mentally stimulating drug designed to inhibit the uptake of monoamine neurotransmitters. The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound are unclear. This product is used in forensic and research applications.
Chemistry
3-Fluorophenmetrazine is a fluorinated version of the amphetamine family. Its core structure consists of a phenyl ring that’s bound to an amino group. The ring is then replaced by a methyl chain. It has a fluorine atom attached to its phenyl ring. Its amphetamine skeleton is also incorporated into a morpholine group.
Pharmacology
3-FPM is a sympathomimetic drug that has the same effects as classical stimulant drugs. Its action is believed to involve the accumulation of norepinephrine and dopamine in the brain. This effect is similar to the effects of dextran and dopamine. 3-FPM is a norepinephrine-dipping agent that shows negligible efficacy. It can be used as a releaser of serotonin. 3-FPM prevents the uptake of norepinephrine and dopamine transporters in HEK293 cells by blocking their action.
3-FPM can reverse the effects of monoamine transporters, such as those involved in the production of norepinephrine and dopamine. It can also release these neurotransmitters into the extracellular space. Evaluation of the metabolic pathway revealed that Noxidation is a cyclic process that involves the alkylation of an ethylbridge. This process is followed by the formation of Omethylation.
