Methcathinones are psychoactive cathinones which inhibits norepinephrine re-uptake. 4-Chloromethyl cathinone is an analog of methyl cathinone, and its chlorine atom is inserted into the 4-position of the phenyl benzene ring. Although the physiological and toxicological properties of the compound are unclear, the similar compound 4-bromomethcathinone, like methcathinone, inhibits the re-uptake of norepinephrine, but cannot stimulate the spontaneous exercise capacity of rats.
The product is used in forensic and research applications. 4-CMC has a strong serotonergic effect and may be used as a cheaper substitute for XTC pills. A recent study suggests that this new chemical may prove to be an important tool for forensic investigators. This psychoactive substance was first identified as a NPS by Taschwer et al., who reported the most accurate and sensitive 4-CMC concentration in the blood. This compound can also be found in biological materials, but the most common route of administration is intravenously. However, when four-CMC is ingested, the effects are delayed for a shorter period of time.
For consumers, 4-CMC is a serotonergic agent. It has the same effects on the brain as other cathinones. The effects of 4-CMC are similar to other cathinones, such as tamoxifen. As with other designer drugs, the effects of 4-CMC depend on the person’s body chemistry. It’s recommended to start at a very low dose in order to avoid side effects.
The main effect of 4-CMC is stimulation and an improved mood. It’s also slightly more noxious than 3-MMC, which is similar to its 4-CMC counterpart. While 4-CMC has a higher sensitivity than 3-MEC, the effects are similar in nature.
This chemical is also available in bath salts sold on the Internet. While the effects are not fully understood, they’re similar to those of other designer drugs. The results are a valuable tool for forensic analysis and forensic research. And it’s easy to use. It’s available in several different dosages, making it easy to perform accurate screenings.
4-CMC is known to be soluble in organic solvent that can be used with concentrations of up to 10 mg/ml. It is also soluble in insolvents such as dimethylformamide or ethanol at 5mg/ml.
