5-MBPB, 5-MPBP, 5-MABB
5-MBPB is an amphetamine derivative that is structurally related to MDMA. It can be described as the butanamine homologue of 5-MAPB or the benzofuran-5-yl analogue of 5-MBDB. This drug is also structurally similar to 5-EAPB and 6-EAPB.
It has been widely reported that this drug was being sold as a designer drug in Europe. The first definitive identification of 5-MBPB was made in December 2015. It is similar to compounds such as 5-MAPB and 5-APB, which are claimed to be able to stimulate the 5-HT2C receptors.
The toxicological and physiological properties of this compound has not been analyzed. Usage of this Chemical should be for research and forensic purposes only.
