Shipping & Storage Information
α-Pyrrolidinoisohexanophenone also referred or known as α-PHIP, α-PIHP, is a cathinone stimulant with a structural isomer of pyrovalerone. It is a pseudo-cyclic isomer of pyrovalerone that has been sold as a designer drug. It is a relative isomer of pyrovalerone that has the 4-position of the aromatic chain. In 2006, a study revealed that the alpha-isobutyl derivatives of pyrovalerone exhibited the highest potency in vitro.
a-PiHP is structurally similar to MDPV. In rats, a-PiHP exhibits a strong stimulation effect and also considered to be a adrenaline and dopamine reuptake inhibitor.
The methyl group of the compound is shifted to the 4-position of the acyl chain from the 4-position of the aromatic ring. The alpha-isobutyl derivative of the pyrovalerone, was discovered to have the highest potency as an inhibitor of the dopamine transporter.
Not much is known about the pharmacological and toxicological properties of α-PIHP. Usage of this Chemical should be for research and forensic purposes only.
