EMBFUBINACA, AEBFUBINACA, FUAEB, FUBAEB
EMB-FUBINACA is a synthetic cannabinoid that is structurally different from other cannabinoids. Its toxicological and physiological properties are not known. A synthetic form of marijuana (cannabinoid) known as EMB-FUBINACA has been found in the designer drug market. It is largely marketed as herbal incense.
Due to the increasing number of synthetic cannabinoids being used in illicit substances, such as JWH-018, AKB48, and UR-144, many products have been seized and smoked by law enforcers.
Due to the federal government’s control over these substances, a transition has been observed to the use of new synthetic cannabinoids on plant material.
Chemistry
Indazole is a class of compounds that are based on the indazole core structure. EMB-FUBINACA is based as an indazole core structure. The first and third positions of the indazole ring are replaced with the 4-fluorobenzyl group and the nitrogen atom is replaced with a linker that is composed of a 1-ethyl-3-methyl-1-oxobutan-2-yl group.
Pharmacology
According to preclinical studies, EMB-FUBINACA is a receptor agonist that can be used to treat asthma and other conditions. There are no published studies regarding the safety of this drug for human use.
