Desnitroetonitazene, Etazen, Etazene, Etazone, Etodesnitazene
Etodesnitazene is a benzimidazole-based opioid analgesic that was originally developed alongside etonitazene during the 1950s. Although it is less potent than morphine, it is still 70x more potent than the latter.
It is a derivative of benzaldehyde that can be used in combination with other drugs. When used in combination with other drugs, it can exert a significant amount of activity. Etodesnitazene was first identified in Finland and Poland in 2020.
The quantitative analysis of the metabolites of Etazene revealed that it exhibited the same structure as its parent compound. The N,O-deethylated metabolite dominated over the one with hydroxylation. The glucuronidated metabolite was not detected in either sample. The resulting structures were identified using the molecular formulas, mass, and fragmentation pattern as determined by the SwissADME online Web server.
The toxicity of Etazene is best understood through an in vitro analysis. The compound’s pharmacological effects are dependent on its structure. Specifically, its pharmacological effects are less clear than those of MORPH.
The toxicological and physiological properties of this compound has not been analyzed. Usage of this Chemical should be for research and forensic purposes only.
