Isotonitazene
A derivative of etonitazene, which is a benzimidazole-based analgesic, is known as isotonitazene. Although it has similar properties to etonitazene, it is less potent in humans. In animal studies, it is shown that isotonitazene is around half as potent as morphine, but in humans, it is only 60 times more potent.
In November 2019, isototitazene was fully characterized in a paper. The authors performed a functional analysis of the drug in vitro and determined its potency. Although isototitazene was not directly compared to morphine, it was found to be more potent than hydromorphone and fentanyl.
The toxicological and physiological properties of this compound has not been analyzed. Usage of this Chemical should be for research and forensic purposes only.
