Methylmethaqualone, MMQ
Quinazazolinone, also known as methylmethaqualone, is a derivative of methaqualone that has similar properties to that of the drug. It has a stronger sedative and hypnotic effect than its parent compound, and is more potent at around 2 to 5 mg.
Unlike the drug’s active ingredient, 4-methylation, the compound is also produced through the phenyl ring. In 1999, it was made illegal in Germany and was regarded as a drug of forensic interest. Although little is known about the nature of this drug, it is believed that it was sold on the black market.
Studies have shown that it can cause seizures and other unusual effects, and anecdotal reports from users suggest that it can also trigger a pro-convulsive effect. These factors could make it difficult to take in excessive amounts.
The toxicological and physiological properties of this compound has not been analyzed. Usage of this Chemical should be for research and forensic purposes only.
WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
