4′-Methyl-α-pyrrolidinohexiophenone (MPHP) is a stimulant chemical under the cathinone class which is closely related to pyrovalerone by a chain lengthened homolog. The position of the aryl, ketone, and pyrrolidinyl groups are kept constant in line with the stimulant activity in the pyrrolidinophenone series. The akyl backbone can be varied from three and up to seven carbons. The highest potency is always seen with the pentyl or isohexyl backbone. A variety of substituents are tolerated on the aromatic ring.
Not much is known about the pharmacological and toxicological properties of MPHP. Usage of this Chemical should be for research and forensic purposes only.
