2-Aminoethoxydiphenyl borate is a compound that acts to inhibit the growth of both the IP3 and TRP channels. It is also used to manipulate the release of calcium ions.
It has also been proven that 2-APB can inhibit the gap junctions formed by connexin. It can also enhance the SOC function by reducing the concentration of calcium channels. It is known to belong to the Phenylethylamine and stimulant class
