It has since been reported in other European nations, such as Spain and Poland. This drug has similar effects to other popular recreational drugs such as mephedrone.
2-methylmethcathinone is a potential major component of the preparation of 4-methyl MC. This drug, which is a psychoactive substance found in bath salts and powders, is likely to be marketed as a designer drug. As an isomer of 4-methyl MC, 2-methylmethcathinone can have psychoactive properties.
