In 2006, a team led by David Nichols of Purdue University discovered a derivative of the hallucinogen 2C-I called 25I-NBMD. It is a partial agonist of the 5HT2A receptor. It can be used for studies on the shape of the receptor. The team used the 25B-NBMD to study the interactions between different molecules.
The toxicological and physiological properties of this compound has not been analyzed. Usage of this Chemical should be for research and forensic purposes only.
