1-(2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-5-yl)-N-methylpropan-2-amine
5-MAPDB is a chemical compound that acts as an entactogenic agent. It is structurally related to other drugs that have similar effects to MDMA, such as 5-MAPB and 5-APDB. It is also known to be a selective serotonin releaser. Although it is a relatively active serotonin releaser, it has weaker effects when compared to other 5-HT2 receptor agonists.
Amphetamines and phenethylamines are 5-MAPDB’s entactogens. It is structurally related to both MDMA and the analogues of this substance, 5-APDB. Although its biological activity is not known, it has been shown to block the effects of certain chemicals, such as serotonin and dopamine. 5-APDB is also known to generalize and inhibit the effects of other drugs, such as MMAI and MBDB, in drug discrimination studies.
The toxicological and physiological properties of this compound has not been analyzed. Usage of this Chemical should be for research and forensic purposes only.
