Dibutylone is a derivative of amphetamines, phenethylamine, and cathinone drugs. It can also be found in plant food or bath salts. These products are marketed as “bath salts”. This material is an analytical reference for the various compounds used in the production of amphetamines, phenethylamine, and cathinone. In 2018, dibutylone was identified as one of the most common drugs of the cathinone class by the DEA.
