An entactogen called ethylbenzodioxolylbutanamine (EBDB), which is also referred to as “Eve” or “J,” is a lesser-known stimulant and psychedelic substance. It is the N-ethyl analogue of the Benzodialbutanamine.
Alexander Shulgin synthesized EBDB in his 1974 book PiHKAL. Although it did not produce the same effects as those of other drugs, such as methylbenzodioxylbutanamine, it did produce a milder and shorter-lasting effect. At a dosage of several hundred milligrams, EBDB can produce similar effects to those of “Methyl-J.”
