Isoproscaline is an analogue of mescaline. It produces hallucinogenic and psychedelic effects. It is known to be closely related to proscaline. Isoproscaline is a class of compounds that are commonly used as phenethylamines.
The mechanism that causes isoproscaline’s hallucinogenic effects is believed to involve the serotonin receptor in the brain.
