25D-NBOMe, NBOMe-2C-D, 2C-D-NBOMe, 25D NBOMe, NBOMe 2C D, 2C D NBOMe
NBOMe, also known as 25D-NBOMe, is a derivative of 2C-D, which is a phenethylamine. It acts similarly to 25I-NBOMe, which is a powerful agonist of the 5HT2A receptor. It was previously sold as a street drug and was banned in the UK in 2013.
The substance known as 25D-NBOMe is a derivative of 2C-D, which was first synthesized by Martin Hansen in 2011. It was then explored in 2012 and 2014. It was eventually established to be a potent agonist of the 5-HT2A receptor. This drug is similar to other members of the same class in terms of its effects.
Although the NBOMe family is not active, it should be administered under the tongue until it has absorbed into one’s mouth for a period of up to 15 to 25 minutes. 25D-NBOMe can also be inhaled or vaporized, and these methods can cause more powerful and rapid effects. However, these methods are not recommended due to the various factors that affect the handling and measurement of these substances.
Before it was sold as a designer drug online in 2010, 25D-NBOMe had no known human use. There is still a lot of unknown about its pharmacological properties and its effects on humans. It has been linked to various hospitalizations and deaths.
Due to its unpredictable effects and highly sensitive nature, it has been reported that 25D-NBOMe can be very difficult to safely use. This is why it is important that users follow proper harm reduction and precaution procedures when using this substance.
Chemistry
2C-D-NBOMe is a derivative of the phenethylamine known as 2C-D. It is a serotoninergic N-benzyl derivative of this drug. 25D-NBOMe is produced by attaching the methoxy groups CH3O-CH4 to carbons R2, R5 and R4.
It is structurally different from 2C-D due to a substitution of NH2 with a 2-methoxybenzyl group. This allows 25D-NBOMe to share the same 2-methoxybenzyl group with other NBOMe compounds. In addition, this addition contains a methoxyether, which is bound to a benzene ring.
Pharmacology
The 25D-NBOMe group is a partial agonist of the 5-HT2A receptor. However, its role in the development of the psychedelic experience is still unknown. The addition of the N-BoMe group to the structure significantly increases the potency of this drug, which is often mistakenly labeled as LSD.
The toxicological and physiological properties of this compound has not been analyzed. Usage of this Chemical should be for research and forensic purposes only.
