In his book PiHKAL, Shulgin states that the dosage range for this drug is 12 to 24 mg. It can be sold in various forms, such as gel caps or tablets. While it is primarily a psychedelic, it can also be vaporized or insufflated. This substance is a part of the 2C-x family, which is structurally related to the mescaline. Its mechanism of action is not fully understood. However, it is believed that the activity of this receptor is mainly involved in the binding of serotonin.

Chemistry

2C-B is considered as a substituted phenethylamines.
