4-AcO-DET, 4-acetoxy-N,N-Diethyltryptamine, Ethacetin, Ethylacybin, 4 aco det, 4-Acetoxy-DET
4-AcO-DET is a novel type of psychedelic substance that’s related to the tryptamine class. It’s produced by taking 4-Acetoxy-N, N-diethyltryptamine, and Ethacetin. It’s also part of a group of substitutes called 4-AcO-MET and 4-AcO-DMT.
Today, 4-AcO-DET commonly used as a designer drug or an entheogenic compound. It can be acquired through the use of online chemical vendors.
Although there’s currently no evidence supporting the use of 4-AcO-DET in humans, it remains relatively rare and can be safely detected through analytical methods. It’s important to avoid its use and avoid harmful effects.
Chemistry
Tryptamines are a class of indole alkaloid molecules that are commonly used in the production of various chemicals. 4-Acetoxy-N.N.-diethyltryptamine, or 4-AcO-DET, is a synthetic version of the tryptamine core structure. It is substituted for R4 by the acetoxy group CH3COO. It also has two ethyl chains bound to the amine RN of its tryptamine backbone.
4-Acetoxy-N.N.-diethyltryptamine, or 4-ACO-DET, is a N-substituted diethyl homolog of the 4-HO-DMT. It is a higher homolog of the two other tryptamines, 4-O-MET and 4-O-DMT.
Pharmacology
A class of 4-substituted tryptamines known as 4-OH-DMT, 4-OH-MET, and 4-OH-DET is often used as a prodrug for the respective hydrolyzed counterparts. In theory, these compounds should become inactive until they are completely deacetylated in the body. However, there is currently debate as to whether or not these compounds might also display their intrinsic activity.
Like other tryptamines, 4-AcO-DET is believed to act as a partial agonist of 5-HT2A. The effects of this drug are mainly attributed to its binding properties to the receptor.
The toxicological and physiological properties of this compound has not been analyzed. Usage of this Chemical should be for research and forensic purposes only.
