4-CAB also known as 4-Chlorophenylisobutylamine can be considered as an entactogen and stimulant of the phenethylamine group. It is also used in forensic research, and is also referred to as PAL-303. This substance is often used as a diuretic in combination with other drugs. It is also known as 4-FMP, PFA, and 1-(4-fluorophenyl)propan-2-amine. It is mainly supplied in the form of a white powder.
4-CAB is a substitute of p-chloroamphetamine, a psychoactive compound which shows articulated toxicity for serotonergic neurons.1,2 4-CAB represses the reuptake of serotonin (IC50 = 330 nM) and dopamine (IC50 = 2.3 μM).
