4-methylallyloxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine, Methallylescaline
Methallylescaline is a 4-methyl analog of allylescaline. Its duration is twelve to sixteen hours and its dosage range is 40 to 65 mg. In psychedelic circles, methallylescaline is a lesser-known drug but is an important component of certain psychedelics. This substance was first synthesized in the 1930s by Alexander Shulgin.
Methallylescaline is a substituted phenethylamine that is self-regulating. It can decrease a person’s desire to use the drug. The molecule is a mixture of two methoxy functional groups. The R4 allyl group contains a double bond, while the second is an allyl group with an amino group. The amino group is bound to the methallyloxy chain through a hydrogen atom.
Methallylescaline is a synthetic psychedelic. Its effects are similar to those of other mescaline analogs. It is an extremely vivid kaleidoscope experience. The drug is available in small amounts in 500mg and 1g. Some users claim that methallylescaline is a mild sedative. Besides, methallylescaline is also a known hallucinogen.
As with mescaline, methallylescaline has a strong psychedelic effect. The effect of methallylescaline is different for everyone, and the dose depends on the person. The higher the dose, the more intense the effects will be. Methallylescaline is a powerful psychedelic, but it is not the same as mescaline. Despite the fact that mescaline is the more popular psychedelic, methallylescaline is still a lesser-known psychedelic.
While it has many benefits, it is not safe to take a large dose of methallylescaline. Its effects are mostly negative, and it is not recommended for people with autism. Some individuals can tolerate a higher dose of methallylescaline, although it is not recommended for those who suffer from schizophrenia or autism. Moreover, methallylescaline can have serious side effects. Its effect is not permanent, but it can cause psychosis.
Chemistry
Methallylescaline is a substituted phenethylamine with a phenyl ring bound to an amino group. It has two methoxy functional groups which are attached to carbons of the phenyl ring. A three carbon chain is formed by a substituted allyl group and is linked to a phenyl ring at R4. The three carbon chains are made up of a R2 methyl substituted allyl group.
