2C-C, 2,5-Dimethoxy-4-chlorophenethylamine, 2C C
2C-C is a derivative of the 2C family of drugs. It was first produced by Alexander Shulgin, who also wrote the book PiHKAL. In his book, Shulgin states that the dosage range for 2C-C is 20 to 40 mg. It’s a derivative of the mescaline-based phenethylamines. These compounds were intentionally modified to produce different effects.
It is currently schedule I of the US’s controlled substances act. 2C-C can be taken orally, but it can also be insufflated due to its nature.
According to some users, 2C-C is more relaxing and gentler than other 2C-x compounds. It is also less potent than 2C-B, 2C-E, and 2C-I. Its effects are also reportedly less severe.
There is currently not a lot of data on the effects of 2C-C on humans. It is mainly used for therapeutic and recreational purposes. Due to its limited history of human use, it is not widely available on the streets and is only used as a grey area research chemical.
