3,4Methylenedioxy-N-hydroxyamphetamine, also known as MDOH, is a amphetamine, psychedelic, stimulant, and entactogen of the phenethylamine class. It is the N-desmethyl homologue of MDHMA and the N-hydroxy homologue of MDA. Alexander Shulgin first discovered this compound. It is an analog of the drug MDA, which is an effective inhibitor of noradrenaline, considered to be more effective than serotonin.
In his book PiHKAL, Alexander Shulgin stated that the dosage range of MDOH is from 100 to 160 mg. It can be used for various conditions, such as enhancing one’s pleasure in nature and beauty. However, it can also cause negative effects, such as difficulty urinating.
